My love for hair started long before I ever picked up a comb professionally — it started watching my mother Renée. Hair was her side hustle, and as a little girl I would watch in awe as women walked into our home one way and left completely transformed. That energy never left me. It became my calling. After 27 years behind the chair I hit a wall — not with hair, but with products. I was frustrated with the options available. I didn't feel good about what I was recommending to clients who trusted me with their crowns. So I earned my cosmetic formulation certification and began creating from the ground up. Then I needed a name. I chose Mylani — the names of my three children combined into one word. Because anything built in their name I carry with integrity. This brand is not just a business. It is my legacy and my love made visible.
